What is your recruitment background?

I first started my recruitment journey working in Education as a Special Education Needs and Disabilities Consultant, employing Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Residential Support Workers. From there, I started my own software platform for schools, to help alleviate some of the costs involved in the recruitment process. After some great successes and learnings, I decided to move into IT recruitment, which has allowed me to work with Project Managers, CTO’s, Software/Web Developers, Architects and Engineers.

Why did you join Now Careers?

I’ve previously worked with David Radford and completely brought in to him as a leader. Having found his passion for the industry incredibly motivating, I believe him to be an expert within the Software Sales industry; so it wasn’t a difficult decision when he asked me to join! Not only this but Now Careers has a great career progression plan in place which was a definite pull, alongside the many perks on offer!

Away from recruitment, what do you do?

Outside of work I have a keen interest in boxing and music. I also love to travel, with my aim being to travel across North America and visiting Asia at some point in the future.
