26th July 2019

Please help us welcome Daniel to the Cardiff branch! Daniel has joined NOW Careers to spearhead the new Commerical Division, coming with a proven track record of placing candidates throughout South Wales within this field. We decided to find out more about his recruitment background, why he chose NOW and what he gets up to outside of recruitment.

Recruitment Background: I began my recruitment career as a Business Development Executive for an industrial recruiter, then moved my focus into a more professional environment running a Supply Chain and Procurement desk for an FTSE250 corporate company. Later, finding my feet as a Consultant, focusing on permanent staff recruitment within the Commercial sector in South Wales. I’ve joined NOW Careers to spearhead the Commercial Division, specialising in both permanent and temporary placements and I’m passionate about delivering a professional and consultative service that reinforces the NOW ethos and enhances the NOW brand. I am very excited about my future at NOW!

Why Now Careers? I was initially enticed by the marketing and branding that NOW Careers portrays in its Social Media. This image was very quickly reinforced by the Director of the Cardiff office, Sarah Jones. In addition to this, NOW Careers have a fantastic reputation in the marketplace in South Wales of delivering a professional, credible and reliable service. I felt that I would increase my exposure and experience as a consultant by working alongside established and well-known consultants who will be able to continue my growth as a full 360 consultant.

Away from Recruitment: I am a business-minded individual, who regularly reads lots of articles and books relating to this. I am constantly researching ways I can invest money wisely and I’m a big fan of motivational speakers and influencers such as Gary Vaynerchuk. I have trialed and tested entrepreneurship from a young age with my first project being starting up a clothing brand at the age of 17. Outside of the business world, I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie and big on charity events; the last two consisted of White Collar boxing and a 12,000ft skydive!
